Do You Want to Get Noticed this New Year's Eve? Let Secret Drawers Help You Dress to Impress!

Now that everyone's tummy is fully of turkey and the armfuls of crinkled, wrapping paper are in the recycle bin, people turn their thoughts to New Year's Eve -- New Year's Eve is only days away, you know. And even though you might have picked out the perfect outfit that will sparkle and shine in any room, that outfit just isn't complete without a visit to Secret Drawers Lingerie.

Why?

Well that's simple. We have the undergarments that are going to make your outside look its best as you dress from the inside out.

We have talked and talked about the importance of the right bra and how the wrong bra can actually make you look 10 pounds heavier! But there is more to holiday dressing than the bra that you choose to wear.

For example, take Spanx. We recently got in an array of new pieces in a lighter control that are perfect in addition to our existing pieces with stronger support. No matter what type of support you choose, these control pieces will give you a nip and tuck without the need for an appointment or a knife. Get rid of those bulges, lines, and dreaded back fat with pieces that will cover you from chest to hemline.

And no dress is complete without the perfect pantyhose to set off the look. Whether you are looking for flirty and fun, sophisticated and unique or just downright sexy, we have them all.

In short, you haven't got a completed look until you decide on your foundation garments. They are going to give you the best lines, and look, of the year.

Get Yourself a Little Something This Christmas

Now that you've bought (hopefully) everyone else's gifts, have you considered getting yourself a little something this Christmas? Maybe you need a new colour of Hanky Panky thong (scarlet red for Christmas?) or maybe a slinky look that you can pop into his stocking might work for you. Or, of course, you can consider yourself planted firmly on the nice list by getting yourself a new, fashionable bra or comfy, lounge-worthy pajamas. Or consider the fine filigree top as shown here or in a camisole -- that should light up under that tree.

And if you still need a little something for him, try Naked. Once a man goes Naked, he often never goes back to those old, unfashionable undies.

In short, we have all your favorites and your favorites-to-be so pop in and fill your own stocking with what you really want this year.

Chantelle's Graphic Bra in Graphite

Graphite, as a colour, is in this winter, and luckily for all, Chantelle has brought out a piece that will flatter and fit a wide range of sizes and shapes.

Today we introduce C Graphique by Chantelle. This is a three-quarter, or demi, bra with medium coverage. This means it's going to give you lift and support but also great cleavage. The C Graphique cups are knit and non-padded. This stunner has an overlapping graphic pattern on the bottom of the cups with a classic grey fabric on top. It's set off by a nude edging and a glowing Chantelle emblem at the breastbone.

Chantelle's C Graphique will fit a wide variety of shapes thanks to a subtle stretch in the top of the cups. This design is available right now in sizes 34-40, cups B-G. Try on this French design to see the rounded and uplifted shape it will give you.

How Lingerie Can Ease Your (and His) Holiday Stress

At Secret Drawers Lingerie, we love the holiday season. We love the Christmas trees, the holiday spirit and all the merriment it brings. The one thing that’s not so great about it, though, is the stress some people feel about fulfilling all the items on their Christmas lists. Luckily, we’re here to help you with that.

  1. Make a “loves” list for your guy. We all know that the men in our lives can sometimes have trouble picking out the perfect gift – so why not help them out by registering what you love with us at Secret Drawers Lingerie? We’re happy to keep a gift registry on file that includes what you love and your sizing so that your partner can just pop by and pick what tickles his fancy.
  2. Give lingerie to your man. True, we generally think about our own stockings stuffed with frilly underthings for Christmas but I suspect that he would be just as happy seeing those items in a package for him with the promise of playful times to come.
  3. Don’t forget to get Naked. While we tend to think about lingerie for women over the holiday season, don’t forget, he deserves superior underthings too. Once men try our Italian microfiber Naked line, many can’t go back to anything less.
  4. Shop now! We hate to put pressure on you, but the fact is, selection and sizes do go quickly during this time of year so coming by sooner is much better than later. If you wait until a last minute shop we just might not have what you love. (And keep in mind, it’s too close to Christmas to have anything ordered in.)
And one more holiday shopping tip: if you’re looking to spruce up your holiday look, try a new pair of patterned tights. Bring your dress with you so you can see what your newly completed look will look like. And if you need control pieces like Spanx? Then it’s really critical to bring your dress with you. We have so many types of control pieces that finding what makes you look your very best requires trying things on under your, specific garment. And with that, we’d like to simply wish you all a glorious holiday season and we look forward to seeing you soon.
